This 1968 Ford F-250 Custom 4×4 was ordered with bucket seats in addition to Deluxe Tutone paint in Wimbledon White and Harbor Blue, and it was delivered new to Jess Hunter Motor Co. of Pueblo, Colorado. Additional equipment includes a Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, and a retro-look stereo. The cab corners and mounts were replaced during the project, and the body was sanded before a satin clearcoat was applied. The western-style mirrors were also refurbished, and the grille was replaced along with door seals, weatherstripping, and bright trim pieces around the truck, which has camper tie-downs, side steps, and a receiver hitch. Powder-coated 16″ steel wheels are mounted with 9. 00-series STA Superlug tires, and a spare is stowed in the 8′ Styleside bed. A replacement drag link, leaf springs, shock absorbers, and manually locking front hubs are noted, as well. Beneath a color-keyed headliner, the refurbished bucket seats are trimmed in Parchment vinyl over replacement carpets, and the cab has a replacement dashboard pad, rearview mirror, bright trim, and a retro-look push-button stereo with a USB port. The steering wheel was also replaced during the refurbishment, and the steering column was serviced with a replacement turn-signal switch and bearings.
